Why are you alienated from yourself?
Why do you hate your black /brown skin?
As if it were a sin?
Why do you dislike your kinky hair?
As if it were a snare?
Don’t you know I made you the way you are?
To show the world My Glory and My Splendour
You don’t have to change what I have given you
Because what I have given you
Is for a purposeful people, not a few
When you stay alienated from self
You cannot totally be free
But I have sent My Son and
My word to liberate you can’t you see?
As long as you hate your black/brown skin
And your kinky hair
That will serve as a soul snare
So stop the self-hatred and the self-degradation
And become the people ordained by me!
For you are beautiful, powerful and free!
So yield to me and let me use you
To set others FREE!
