Bruised Children
Most don’t make it out of childhood without bruises and damages
From those at school who break the rules.
From the Bullies who call us names
From all those kids who cause us shame.
This teaches one to not love and accept self.
It teaches one to try to fit in with all the rest.
But there are some set apart for God alone.
He has put his mark on them to belong.
To belong to Him and Him alone.
That’s why you don’t fit and feel lonely.
So little boy and girl don’t try to fit.
Don’t let them tear you down and put in a pit.
For you have been given the King’s Crown
God will use you for His Glory
He will through you tell His Story.
A story that’s not new but old
A story that must forever be told!
