Divorce
Something created by man, not God
Something that tears two people apart
Causing shame and pain
Causing two lives to be forever stained.
Causing the children to forever pay
Causing many of them to go astray.
So why do we engage in such a thing?
The root of it is selfishness, not honoring the ring.
For the ring symbolizes a never-ending love
Sent into the hearts of two people from above.
They say that true love never fails
So let’s embrace God’s love and continue to sail
Sailing through life trading selfishness for
Selflessness.
Able to take the turns in life’s road and all the rest.
Divorce doesn’t have to be you see.
If I yield to you and you to me.
Because whatever comes as a disaster
Can be turned around for good by The Master
So come on Folks
Don’t be so quick to call it quits
Just have your fit but refuse to quit.
You see quitting looks easy from your seat.
But down the road awaits more sorrow and defeat.
Defeat for each person involved
Both Parents and children problems will have to be solved
So don’t consider divorce
It’s not a choice
Living till death do us part is what you will hear from our voice
