Thank You Father for my Father

Father, I thank you that I had the opportunity to hug my earthly father and show him my love. Although he rejected me, you have enabled me to rise above. Rise above the rejection and lack of love, You see, I know you love me Because your love I continually see As you shower your blessings upon me As you protect and care for me You have given me what no earthly father could provide You have been with me, always at my side To give me everything I need To bless and answer prayers for me You are my real father But I thank you once again for the earthly father you chose for me.

I know his departure will soon come I know it will cause pain and discomfort for some But, I can say with a clear heart and mind I am grateful for you giving me with him some time To love him and express the thoughts in my mind Now please forgive him and give him your grace as he comes to the end or his race
